Some of those named appear in the Census returns and the Tharston parish baptisms and Charles and Rachel, the father and mother, have memorials in St. Mary's churchyard
Charles Fuller (son of shopkeeper Richard Fuller), a widower from Hempnall who was a glazier, and Rachel Gowing (daughter of farmer Robert Gowing), a spinster, were married on 4th May 1858 in St. Margaret's Church, Topcroft - witnesses Curtis Fulcher and Ann Eliza Fuller.
