This is the Last Will and Testament of me Henry Bunn of Tharston in the county of Norfolk a Farmer First my Will is that my Executors herein after named or the survivor of them his Executors or Administrators shall immediately after my Decease make an Inventory and Valuation of all my crops of corn and grain upon the Farm and Lands in my Occupation in Tharston aforesaid and also of all my Farming Stock Cattle and Implements of Husbandry Household Furniture and all other my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and that the same shall be sold for the best price that can be obtained within twelve months after my Decease and after Deducting all Expenses attending such Valuation and sale and paying all my just Debts Funeral Charges and the expenses of proving this my Will and also paying to Henry Bunn my Son the sum of ten pounds I do order and direct that the residue of the money ensuing by such sale shall be paid and divided in the following Proportions (that is to say) Two fourth parts thereof I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Bunn and the remaining two fourth parts my will is shall be paid and equally divided between my Daughters Ann the wife of John Reeve, Frances the wife of John Hooke, and Charlotte the wife of Robert Dye and in case of the Death of any or either of them before then their Shares become payable my Will is that the part or Share of him her or them so dying shall be paid to their child or children equally if more than one share and share alike at their respective ages of twenty one years And lastly I do nominate and appoint my two very good friends Mr Joseph Parsley of Tharston aforesaid Miller and Mr Benjamin Stannard of the same place Farmer Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I the said Henry Bunn have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one Sheet of paper set my Hand and Seal this seventeenth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety three.

Proved by Benjamin Stannard one of the Executors 15th September 1795 before the Rev. John Daniel Dreyer Clke surrogate to the worshipful Thomas Hay D.D. Comy & XXXXX (reserved for the other Extor to act XXX)
Notes: The transcribed text is as exactly as that from the will with little or no punctuation and dubious capitalisation. Also at the end there are some parts that are indecypherable, marked with Xs. In the parish register pages are several entries for the above mentioned people, including the marriage of Henry Bunn to Judith Brewster (3 Dec 1781) and the burial of Charlotte Dye (19 Apr 1846).
