What are we involved in
Part of our society's activities is to be involved in projects and activities which help to bring to life Tharston and its history. Current projects include:
Tharston Lime Kiln ...
We are lucky that in Tharston we have a well preserved example of a
quite rare designed lime kiln. It is hoped that it will be
restored to its former glory. More details here.
Tharston Family Tree ...
Many villages have families which have lived there for many, many years
and have played a considerable part in the life and development of the
village. Some members are attempting to put together a family tree of
the village which will show where families have joined, including some of their
history. More details here.
